I have curly hair and if I get my hair cut with layers, it really takes some weight off and the curls look a little better on the top layer and everythings a little bit more defined.

depending on your facial type. round or pearshape features looks better with a short cut. long face layered and to the shoulder. people with naturlly curly hair never go wrong with an updo look. to the shoulder and pinned leaving a couple of strains around the face.
